What did you do this summer? Travel? Hit the pool? Now that summer is winding down, I'm reflecting on what we did, and by "we" I'm referring to the Acadia team and the surrounding business community. Let me elaborate.
Last month, we wrapped up an annual community project that we couldn’t do without the help of some very dedicated people and local businesses here in the Dayton, Ohio region. Every year, I help coordinate and implement a program called the Reds Rookie Success League of Dayton. The Reds Rookie Success League is fueled 100% by volunteers.Read More
Forget about CRM, sales pipelines and even cake pops. Let's talk summer. You know - our children's vacation - the one that lasts about three months. The one us working parents strive to fill with fun while keeping one foot in the office door.

Now, with all that said, let me share a little something that I do regularly to help me in my efforts. ‘Exercising at work.’ No, I’m not talking about morning calisthenics or a boot camp, but walking while you work.
I have come to realize that I think better, and tend to be more upbeat and motivated, when I am moving. We all know that when you exercise, your body releases endorphins, chemicals that give you that “feel good” feeling. Exercise also circulates more blood and oxygen through your brain. It makes sense that walking, or any other type of exercise, is good for you and your thought process. There you go!Read More
