When was the last time you forgot your phone and didn't feel like a piece of you was missing? It's hard to remember, isn't it? Mine dates back to the early 2000's when I got my first cellphone. It was a Motorola flip phone with a handful of pre-made ring tones, a few games and a camera (barely). With this great, new mobile phone power came the great responsibility of remembering to bring it places. Not my strong suit back then. I had to be constantly reminded to take my phone with me before I left the house. And if I forgot it? Well, a lecture was sure to be waiting for me when I stepped in the back door later that day.
Fast forward three years to when I got my first iPhone–the 8gb, silver, first generation iPhone. It was a thing of beauty. My Motorola flip phone from 3 years earlier couldn't compare. That's the moment when my mobile phone dependence began.
Almost 10 years and dozens of smart phone models later, mobile devices have taken over our lives. People are constantly connected everywhere so everything must be mobile optimized. Yes, gone are the days of the pinch-zoom with your thumb and pointer finger on your phone screen to click that tiny button on a website (those pre-facebook mobile app days some of us remember so fondly). At this point, we're all too far into this mobile age to fight it, especially with your business. It's time to go with the flow and hop on the mobile optimize train.

In fact, 40% of people will search for an alternate site if the first result isn't mobile optimized*. To add to that, only 35% of website are mobile optimized**. Think all the prospects and possible customers you could be missing out on!
