Acadia Lead Management Services and the Ohio River Valley Women’s Business Council (ORV~WBC) are proud to announce the launch of a monthly  Dayton-area meeting developed by and for WBENC certified women business owners. These monthly events will feature roundtable discussions, special guests and networking opportunities focused on the unique issues women business owners face.

These events are open to businesses certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), businesses seeking certification and organizations interested in learning more about women-owned businesses.

According to Rea Waldon, ORV~WBC Executive Director, the monthly meetings intend to “increase the economic empowerment of women-owned businesses through not only certification but through working with one another.”

Judith Wade, a WBENC-certified business owner, summarizes her experience at these events: “I am getting much more than originally expected and am so delighted; In just two months I have met business owners who’ve requested my services and have also been given information about potential business opportunities I otherwise would not have known about. Equally important to me is that I have been able to share information of benefit to other WBENC certified women business owners.”

Co-host Acadia Lead Management Services, led by Margery Murphy, is a WBENC-certified business specializing in helping companies take their sales and marketing efforts to a new level of success. ORV~WBC is one of WBENC’s 14 regional partner organizations certifying women owned businesses as being 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or group of women in the states of Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.

ORV~WBC is a program operated by the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati’s Business Development & Entrepreneurship Center, under the authority of WBENC.
